That's not a bold prediction. It's a near certainty! Too many forwards (and not enough stars) in camp for someone to make the big club if they're not ready for Primetime! From what's been reported from the Prospect Tourney, it's looking like Vesey and Nieves will have the best shot out of the newbies.

pretty sure Todd Cordell predicted the Rangers to miss playoffs around this time last year too

Dan Girardi was horrendous last year, and was also playing hurt all year. Off season surgery that hampered him early, then a cracked knee cap he played with for awhile mid season, and then a concussion late.

He was NOT a disaster the previous season. The Rangers won the President's trophy, Lundqvist missed two months and Girardi led the team in total icetime. It's virtually impossible for the Rangers to have had 113 points that season if Girardi was a disaster. I dont care what the fancy stats say.

he's going to be unbearable the day the Oilers do eventually make the playoffs. even if it's 3-4 years from now he'll be taking credit for knowing it all along.
